My Experience:
I think what intrigued me right away about the UltraPacks was the fact that I did not have to measure or pour or sprinkle anything. I didn’t have to inhale any powder dust from regular detergent or have liquid detergent dripping from the bottle even after I poured it. I was skeptical, though, because I was not sure that a tiny little packet would be able to properly clean my clothes. I was even skeptical about the scent- Mountain Breeze? I wasn’t sure if I wanted my laundry smelling like mountains- and what exactly does a mountain smell like anyway?
The great news is my clothes smell great and it is a long-lasting scent. In subsequent washes, I added the Purex Crystals to the wash and it made my laundry smell that much better. I’m very pleased with the results of the Purex UltraPacks and would definitely recommend these if you want to save time and clean up your laundry routine.

I try to eat healthy- well, sometimes. I like for my family to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, but a lot of time, it seems like I throw money away on produce that goes bad before we can eat it. Clearly Fresh bags just may be the solution to my problem!
A couple of weeks ago I bought bananas, lettuce, strawberries, onions, and apples. I stored the bananas and apples in Clearly Fresh bags and kept them out of the refrigerator and placed the other items in their individual bags and put them in the refrigerator.
To be honest, I was completely skeptical that these bags would make any noticeable difference in the freshness of my produce, but, oh my gosh…THEY DO! We actually were able to eat all our fresh foods before they went bad. That has never happened.

I labeled mine and plan to reuse them (specific to each item- you know, only put bananas in one bag, strawberries in another, etc).
I think these bags would help any family that is trying to eat fresh fruits and vegetables while trying to save money. I look forward to using (and re-using) mine to save lots of money that I would, ordinarily, just throw out.

Jockey and Purex provided me free samples of their products so I could review them. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own.
To be honest with you, the sports bras that I own are nothing special- I usually buy a 3-pack at your everyday “we sell everything” super store. I was kind of excited to get the tech terry performance sports bra from Jockey. The first thing I thought when I pulled it out of the box was “wow, snazzy.” This sports bra has a key pocket y’all! I’ve never even heard of such a thing!
Other bonus features include:
A soft bottom band
Why does this matter? Sometimes the elastic at the bottom of the sports bra can be too tight and leave a nice ring around your body when you take it off. I don’t know about you, but I am not a fan of markings on my body from clothes that are too tight and uncomfy.
Breathable mesh panels and moisture-wicking material
This is cool for me because when I work out I sweat like nobody’s business. Having a bra with breathable mesh and moisture-wicking material means that I don’t end up looking (or feeling) like I walked through a car wash on my upper body.
A great partner for your Jockey bra are Purex Crystals. Better than regular fabric softener, Purex Crystals is softener, reinvented. Usually, you wouldn’t use fabric softener when washing your performance sports bra. Liquid fabric softeners have softening oils which stop the moisture wicking fabric from working (which then defeats the whole purpose of wearing a moisture-wicking bra)! The Purex Crystals are made of 92% natural crystals. No oils means that your bra will still be able to do what you need it to do- wick up sweat.
I was sent the tropical splash scent to review and to be honest I was very skeptical about the claims that this would still smell fresh days after it was washed. Today is Thursday, I washed clothes on Monday. Usually, if I let my laundry sit for a few days, the fresh scent they came out of the dryer with is gone. Honestly, when my husband folded the clothes today he commented on how fruity they smelled. This, though, only applied to the clothes that we put in the dryer. The clothes that we hung to dry in our laundry room? No longer smell like the crystals. I’m not really sure why that is.
The concept is simple: pour the crystals into your washer before you put the clothes in, then do your laundry as usual. There are measuring lines for load size, but the directions say that you can fill the cup if you want- for extra freshness. My other worry was that the softener would be way too strong, because when you open the bottle and smell it- your senses are very… infused. That was not the case, though, after the wash and I actually like how the clothes smell. They smell sweet and it’s not very strong at all.

I have been hired by Warner Bros. WBWord division to promote Shameless Season One on DVD.
Throughout the 1st Season, we see a lot of hardship but it usually ends with a twist of humor and close family ties. At the end of Season 1, we find Steve trying to convince Fiona, the oldest daughter, to skip town with him to the warm and beautiful/care-free Costa Rica. This kind of lifestyle would surely be a great change for Fiona, but after initially deciding to go with Steve, she changes her mind and stays with the hard yet humorous, family-oriented life.
This episode was probably one of the hardest of the season for me to watch. Fiona is such a superstar- I really admire her. I want nothing more than for her to be happy. When her mother (Monica) came back into the picture, you could just see the pain on Fiona’s face- the heartbreak that was involved with her losing her childhood, her mom leaving and her assuming her Mom’s role.
When Steve asked her to go to Costa Rica with him, I knew she wouldn’t go. It’s hard to just walk away from your family when you have been taking care of them for so long. She knows that her parents are irresponsible and careless and the thought of everything crumbling when she leaves? She can’t fathom that. I think Fiona knows that just because she lost her childhood doesn’t mean that her brothers and sisters should lose their childhood also. I don’t blame her. Sometimes you have to put others before you. Deb and Liam are so young and they need her. I’d have to find love at home, near my family or not at all- which is what Fiona chose to do.
(Side note, the story line about her cop friend chasing Steve out of town was completely dumb. I hope they don’t build on that character this year. Is he going to cock block on Fiona for the rest of her life? When will he realize that she doesn’t want to be with him?!?! /End Rant)
