I hung it up while she was sleeping when I received it all the way from California to Pennsylvania in less than 4 business days! When she woke up, she ran right over to it, and her new favorite, “Oh! Ooooh!” was uttered at least about 100 times.
It was real easy to put up so it gives a true height measurement. As you can see, it starts at 24″. So me being the mathmatical genious that I am, got out my measuring tape (yes, this single mama has a toolbox!) and measured up 24″ off the ground and used a pencil to mark a line. Pretty simple, right?
Then I took a nail and let it hold the ribbon as I hammered the nail into the wall, aligning the 24″ mark of the chart with the line on the wall. Success.
I love the fact that it is actually made out of canvas material, so that when you take it out of it’s circular tube shipping package, it doesn’t need time to unfold itself. And, not to mention, the material is great for using a Sharpie marker to mark the dates of their growth spurts.
