Next week, Lila starts preschool and she will be taking her lunch 4 days a week. She’s so excited and I knew I wanted her to have a “one-of-a-kind” lunchbox.
Enter — Frecklebox! Frecklebox specializes in personalized gifts for kids and carries items such as: personalized posters, personalized puzzles, personalized notebooks, and story books (among many other things).
Frecklebox has literally dozens of designs and Lila had a hard time deciding on which one she wanted. That is, until she saw the cute little puppy design. A couple of days after my order was placed, she had her personalized, one-of-a-kind lunchbox!
Per the Frecklebox website, “The lunch boxes are made of .30 millimeter tin (lead free) and covered with printed, laminated high-tack adhesive on all sides. They have a chalkboard on the inside lid for writing notes to your loved ones. Finish size is 7-5/8″ x 6-3/4″ x 4″.”
I am very impressed with the look and size of the lunchbox. It is the perfect size to fit a healthy lunch (Lila eats more than this, by the way) and still have room for a thermos. The child’s name is on every single side of the lunchbox so there’s no confusing who it belongs to!
Plus, I adore the idea of being able to write a cute little message or drawing on the chalkboard inside to Lila for her to find at lunchtime! A lot of thought was put into making this lunchbox and it definitely shows.
The lunchbox retails for $29.95. While I think this price is a bit steep, if the lunchbox lasts all school year, it will be well worth the investment.
So far, Lila loves it and has been carting it around the house, storing her valuables.
