About Rocky Mountain Diapers:
Founded in 2007 when the creator found out she was expecting. She tried to modify several diapers before deciding to create her own and thus- Rocky Mountain Diapers was born.
I was recently given the opportunity to review a one-sized pocket diaper from Rocky Mountain Diapers.

About the Rocky Mountain Pocket Diaper:
Rocky Mountain Pocket Diapers “feature an *Internal Adjustment System that allows for a trim fit tailored to your baby’s body type, without a complicated or cluttered external snap arrangement. With one simple adjustment to the hidden snap system, you can raise or lower the front rise, or accommodate a thin or chunky baby’s thighs without the need to adjust again until your little one grows to the next size. Rocky Mountain Diapers come in a variety of adorable coordinating colors, and are made of quality, fade resistant PUL to prevent leaking, and soft suede cloth on the inside to keep your baby dry and happy.”
Things I Like:
- The diaper is lightweight
No “bulky diaper syndrome” when dressing your child - The microfiber insert
I have had a lot of success with microfiber and absorbency - Ease of use
- The elastic adjustment for the leg
As opposed to millions of buttons on the front to adjust as your child grows, just a simple, hidden elastic adjustment.
After using the diaper for about three weeks, I can safely say that Baby C is going to need an extra insert. My girl pees like there is no tomorrow and she soaks through these Rocky Mountain Diapers- especially at night. I would love if it featured a sewn-in insert like DryBees diapers and then I could add the microfiber insert as an add-on. Otherwise, I love the way the diapers look under her clothes- they fit great and thanks to the easy-to-use elastic adjustment.
Buy It!
Rocky Mountain Diapers come in a variety of colors and are priced at $19.50 per diaper. You may also find gently used seconds on their website for $15.50 per diaper.
Rocky Mountain Diapers also sells pail liners, which retail for $17.95 and are available in seven different colors.
Would I recommend this diaper?
Based on quality and ease-of-use for first time cloth diapering moms, then yes, I would and if you need an extra insert for your little one that can easily be purchased! I will admit, though, that of all of the cloth diapers that I have reviewed thus far, Rocky Mountain Diapers are up there as one of the higher priced diapers. Our family motto when shopping is: “You get what you pay for,” so you have to decide if the quality of Rocky Mountain Diapers is worth it to you.
